Windham Co. COSU

We work across the span of harm reduction, prevention, treatment, and recovery to understand and address the impacts of opioid and other substance use. We value racial and class equity, vulnerability, curiosity, with focus on systems change and accountability to those most impacted in our communities.

About Us

Our Beliefs

We are working toward elevating voices of those most impacted by substance and opiate use in order to end substance related deaths in Windham County.

We believe those who are most impacted are those most at risk for overdose and other forms of permanent loss. People most impacted also tend to be people most marginalized in terms of race, class, and LGBTQ identity.

We believe that harm reduction is healthcare, and healthcare is a human right. We empower health for people who use substances by supporting interventions that center dignity, autonomy and personal choice.

Our interventions seek to address the impacts of all substances through a focus on health equity and the social determinants of health.
